COMPUTERIZED NUMERICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR MACHINE TOOLS
capabilities and reliability up to the industry standards -
and affordable
Numerical control system PRONUM 600 is a state-of-the-art CNC system,
equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), high-capacity part program
memory, built-in cycles for lathes and milling machines and many more features
designed to help an engineer and an operator. Modules of PRONUM control systems
conform to the standards of IBM PC/AT. Thanks to its compactness - the system
contains only a few printed circuit boards - the system is very reliable. It is
installed in a compact casing conforming to the 19'' standard (483mm x 400mm x
180mm). The complete system weight less then 20kg, and consumes as little as 75W
of power.
Practice has shown that the interface based on programmable buttons and
multilevel menus makes operating the system easy and simple. The system displays
clear and understandable communicates, warnings and alerts. Machining programs
may be tested by a graphical simulation of the process, and corrected and
optimised if necessary. New part program can be programmed in during normal
operations of the machine. PRONUM control system is produced in two basic
versions:
- PRONUM 640FC, for multiaxial control of milling machines, drills, boring
machines and machining centres
- PRONUM 630T, for lathes and lathe centres
